Welcome to the College of Engineering and Mineral Resources at West Virginia University, where many of our nation's top leaders got their start. Our students graduate with multiple job offers and go on to successful careers worldwide in industry, academia, and a wide range of professions.
We offer nine undergraduate engineering majors, several dual majors, undergraduate majors in computer science and biometric systems, and many graduate degree programs.

Our students participate in research and hands-on projects from their freshman year on.
Our common freshman engineering curriculum allows you to become familiar with all of our departments before having to declare a major.
We have a student/faculty ratio of 18 to 1.
