How to Register
Students, will be assigned a day and a half session. During the session, the students will meet with their advisors and schedule for classes. Students will also go through other informational sessions; (i.e. learning about the residence halls and Operation Jumpstart, learn about the services offered by Health Services, take a loan session if need be, etc.) Students should receive information from our office by the end of April. Students wishing to come to a particular session need to indicate it on the reservation card that is to be returned.
There is a fee: - $42.00 per person -- no lodging, meals included
- $62.00 per person -- one night lodging in the Evansdale Residential Complex, meals included.
- $82.00 per person -- two nights lodging in the Evansdale Residential Complex, meals included.
Students do not have to stay in the Evansdale Residential Complex. In the past, our office has provided hotel and motel lists in the mailings so that other arrangements may be made.
For parents a program is offered. Parents will meet with their student's advisor. Parents will also hear from a panel that will include representatives from the Financial Aid Office, Office of Student Affairs, Office of Revenue and Loan Services, Health Services and others. Parents can also take care of any financial matters while at Orientation.
Remember, Orientation is not mandatory, however, we strongly recommend it. Students that have arranged meetings with their advisors and made arrangements to take placement examinations can make the decision to attend Orientation.
