For May 2008 Commencement, the College of Engineering and Mineral Resources will host its own official ceremony, and every graduate will walk across the stage to receive his or her diploma. There will not be a large ceremony for the entire University. Those who are graduating with doctorates will be hooded at the ceremony. Graduates and their families will be receiving an official letter of invitation to Commencement. We are looking forward to a memorable day, and we sincerely hope that you and your family will be able to join us. No tickets or reservations are required, and there is ample seating at the Coliseum. The commencement timeline is as follows: 1:15 p.m. - All degree candidates report to the Red Gate, Coliseum 2:00 p.m. - Commencement Ceremony, Coliseum 3:30 p.m. - College-wide Reception, Shell Building Useful Information for Graduates and FamiliesGeneral Information - Visit www.wvu.edu/commencement for complete information on WVU's Commencement Weekend activities.
