May I have your Attention Please!!

The 8th Annual West Virginia University Engineering and Computer Science Career Fair will be held on October 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. The format will be the same as last year with two days of table displays and one day for interviewing. Please read ahead for the details!

Employers attending the 2008 Career Fair will have the option of attending Wednesday, October 1st or Thursday, October 2nd. The format for both days will be the same.

Arrangements have been made for employers that wish to immediately interview students they meet during the Career Fair to remain in Morgantown and return to campus on Friday, October 3rd to conduct interviews. Employers that wish to take advantage of this opportunity should plan to attend the Thursday Career Fair. Employers that do not plan to interview immediately should register to attend the Wednesday session. Employers are always welcome to return to campus at a later date to interview any students that they found interesting. We will accept 70 employers for each session and will reserve your space based on a first come first served basis.

Should you choose not to interview immediately following the Career Fair, as always, you are welcome to schedule a date to return to campus to conduct interviews. We will arrange your interview schedule, and provide you with everything you will need for a successful day of interviews.

The registration fee to attend the CEMR Career Fair is $250 per employer. The cost to reserve an interview room on Friday is $50 per room. The deadline to reserve an interview room is September 12th.

New Registration Process!

The registration process this year has been streamlined using our new online career assistance software, MountaineerTRAK. You can access the MountaineerTRAK homepage by going to www.myinterfase.com/wv/employer or by clicking on the grey box above. If you are already registered with MountaineerTRAK, simply log in and scroll over "Career Fairs and Events." Then select "Register" for the day you wish to attend. If you are not registered with MountaineerTRAK, select "Click here to register!" on the login page and follow the online instructions. Once you complete your MountaineerTRAK registration, follow the instructions above to register for the career fair.

Student Participants
Get your resume ready!! The companies attending the Career Fair will be looking for qualified and highly motivated students to fill opportunities with their companies and agencies for internships, co-ops and permanent positions. A week or two before the Career Fair, you will begin to receive e-mails with more detailed information and maps of the layout for the Fair. Also log on to your MountaineerTRAK account to keep an eye on the list of employers attending and their individual employment needs.
