TRAM -Training Resources Applied to Mining
An annual 3-day conference held in cooperation with the Pennsylvania State University and the University of Kentucky. This conference involves all persons associated with the mining industry: management, labor, government, educational institutions, manufacturing and consulting. Presents the newest trends in supervisory and management training, maintenance training and health and safety training for mining personnel.
The Applachian Underground Corrosion Short Course
An annual conference which involves over 1200 participants and provides technical and nontechnical information on underground corrosion control and cathodic protection.
The Eastern Gas Compression Roundtable
Over one thousand students are attracted to this annual conference which investigates the maintenance and operation of compression units and related equipment.
Safety Days
A two-day event held in conjunction with the Miners Health & Safety Administrations Morgantown office. Mine rescue teams from the tri-state area demonstrate their skills in first-aid, benchman and rescue competitions.
