The freshman engineering advisors advise all students who are
in the General Engineering program.
All first time freshman who are accepted to the College of Engineering and
Mineral Resources at West Virginia University are placed into the General
Engineering program. Any transfer student who does not meet the qualifications
for entering a department is also advised as a General Engineering student until
their department choice is approved.
