The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at West Virginia University seeks applications for Post-Doctoral Fellow in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) (Position #71201). A Ph.D in mechanical engineering or related field with emphasis on thermal fluid engineering and at least two year of programming experience with FORTRAN, C or C++, and FLUENT UDF are required. Experience in CFD grid generation using ICEM-CFD, running simulations using FLUENT, post-processing data, experience and/or knowledge of turbulent reacting flow phenomena, turbulence modeling, knowledge of parallel programming, and experience with Linux clusters are desirable. The prospective candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills. Initial appointment will start August 15, 2012. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications.
