Fall Family Weekend Events October 17-18

All students and families are invited to attend Fall Family Weekend 2008 activities in the College of Engineering and Mineral Resources. The tentative schedule is below. Check back here for more detailed information as it becomes available.

Friday, October 17

Reception and Department Tours
3:30 -- 6:00 p.m.
Atrium, Engineering Sciences Building Addition
(adjacent to Parking Area 40, Evansdale Drive)

Families and students are invited to meet faculty members, tour labs and other facilities in the College, and join us for a reception in the Atrium of the new Engineering Sciences Building Addition.

Prof. Jack Byrd will give a brief presentation about the freshman program.

Saturday, October 18

Open House and Picnic
10 a.m.- 1 p.m.
Atrium, Engineering Sciences Building Addition Atrium
(Adjacent to Parking Area 40, Evansdale Drive)

Student organizations in the College will give presentations on their organizations' activities and host a picnic lunch for students and their families.
